Please join me on your mat as I ease back into offering Yoga here at the studio.  These intimate classes will focus on alignment principles of our asana practice.  The smaller group allows for individual attention to postures and breathing ensuring each person is safe in their own physical frame resulting in an empowering experience that leaves your body, mind and spirit deeply connected.

Align & Shine Flow Friday ~ 60min

Enjoy Aspasia’s style of yoga practice that is fun, inspiring, and physically challenging.  You will leave the class feeling lighter, muscles more flexible and your body feeling truly strong & alive.  We will focus on pranayama (breathing) and mediation in asana (seated yoga position) to ensure you leave the class with tangible tools to use along your day, the possibilities are endless!

Rest & Restore, a Restorative Yoga Experience ~ 90min

This Restorative experience is designed to allow your body to Rest and Restore.  Bringing your mind, body and soul back into balance.  During this class essential oils will be used to amplify your experience as well as gentle massage techniques.

Aspasia will guide you to subtly relax into a restorative yoga practice.  Restorative yoga seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the aid of props.  The use of props makes it easier for you to maintain balance while you are stimulating and relaxing your body.  The benefits of restorative yoga provides healing for the body and the mind.

It is especially useful when you need to eliminate fatigue and stress that result from your daily activities.  It is known that restorative yoga can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which enables automatic control of the body.  As such, the regular nervous system will be at rest, and the muscles will become more relaxed.  Constant practice of restorative yoga will make your body less vulnerable to stress-related illnesses and help you achieve optimal health.

What to bring:

  • Blanket to cover yourself, I will have all other props.  However, if you do have your own props and would like to bring them please do.
  • Yoga mat
  • Water if you wish.  Tea will be available as well
  • Wear comfy clothing, doesn’t have to be yoga clothes (come in your PJ’s if you wish)
